
Man taken to safety by police in Red Lion Street, Norwich.
Police have removed a man to a secure location following an incident in Norwich.
At 1.34pm on Thursday, police and an ambulance crew were spotted assisting a vehicle in difficulties on Red Lion Street, near the old Debenhams shop.

Emergency personnel communicated with the man through the ajar driver-side door.
According to a police spokesperson, the event was related to “concerns for the welfare of a man”.

The police were initially dispatched to Orford Place before travelling to Red Lion Street.
Officers then affixed “Authorities Aware” stickers on the front and back of the man’s vehicle while he was assessed in the ambulance.
