Manning wants Rusk and Lallana to remain at Southampton
Defendant Ryan Manning stated that he hopes Adam Lallana and Simon Rusk would continue to play for the team in
some manner the next season.
Manning and other Southampton players have expressed their admiration for Rusk and Lallana, who are now acting
as temporary manager and assistant until the conclusion of the season.
Although Lallana’s “unique perspective” and their techniques have been commended by Manning, there has been no
formal announcement on their future as the Saints look for a new permanent manager.
Rusk signed a first-team coaching contract in February, and Lallana, who recently turned 37, has a playing contract
that ends at the end of this season.
