Former Ipswich Town player Panutche Camara has joined Scottish club Dundee United.
The 28-year-old joined the Blues from Plymouth Argyle for a cost of £500,000 on summer transfer deadline day 2022, but persistent injury setbacks limited him to only one start and three substitute appearances as Town won League One promotion.

Camara then spent another injury-plagued season on loan at Charlton Athletic before returning to his former club, Crawley Town, as a free agent last summer. He was a regular starter there and concluded the season in good form for a side that was relegated to League Two, scoring once and assisting twice in the final three games.
He has signed a two-year contract with Dundee United. The newly promoted Tangerines placed fourth in the SPL last season, qualifying for this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League.
They will meet UNA Strassen of Luxembourg in two legs, the first of which takes place tomorrow night at Tannadice Park. “Panutche will considerably boost our midfield’s physical and technical abilities.
He is an aggressive ball-winner who maintains outstanding control and creativity when in possession throughout the park,” remarked boss Jim Goodwin.
“As a person, he has displayed a willingness and commitment to progress through the ranks of English football from non-league, continually pushing himself beyond of his comfort zone to continue growing on the pitch.
“His professionalism, work ethic, and adaptability make him an ideal candidate for the culture we’re creating here. We feel he will not only provide immediate talent to our group, but also act as a role model for younger players in the system.”
