Kevin Nisbet, a Millwall striker, has confirmed that he will return to the Lions for pre-season following his remarkable season on loan at Aberdeen.
Scotland forward Nisbet, 28, helped the Dons win the Scottish Cup for the first time since 1990 by defeating Celtic 4-3 on penalties at Hampden Park last weekend. Alfie Dorrington’s own goal put Celtic up in the first half, but custodian Kasper Schmeichel redirected the ball into his own net from Shayden Morris’ cross with seven minutes remaining.

Nisbet started and played for 79 minutes. After his season-long loan arrangement expired, he was quizzed about his future plans. “I’ll be back with them pre-season,” Nisbet added. “I don’t want to talk about other teams or anything like that. I’ll be back with them in preseason, and we’ll take it from there.” Nisbet said, “It’s been fantastic.” I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, including the ups and downs, and to finish like way is incredible. We are going to celebrate for a few days now.“We knew we’d have to suffer in the game. They’re a top team but the boys dug in and winning on penalties is unbelievable.
