MILLWALL has exercised an option in Wes Harding’s contract, which extends it until the summer of 2026.

Harding’s contract was set to expire at the end of the season, but he will stay in south-east London for an additional year.

The 28-year-old defender has appeared eight times this season, scoring in the Lions’ 3-1 FA Cup Fourth Round loss to Crystal Palace on March 1.

Harding signed with the Lions as a free agent in the summer of 2023, after leaving Rotherham. The Jamaican international previously played for Birmingham City, winning the club’s Young Player of the Season award in 2017-18.
