Nearly 100 Pubs in the North West to Celebrate St George’s Day with 2,000 Free Pints – Full List of Locations

 

What better way to celebrate St George’s Day than with a cold pint in hand – especially if it’s free? This Wednesday (April 23), nearly 100 pubs across the North West are raising their glasses to England’s patron saint by offering up 2,000 free pints to customers.

The initiative is part of a nationwide celebration led by Proper Pubs, a community-focused pub operator, which has announced the giveaway as a nod to British tradition and the importance of local pubs in bringing communities together.

With St George’s Day often flying under the radar compared to other national celebrations, the team behind Proper Pubs is hoping to change that. By handing out complimentary pints, they’re aiming to give people another reason to step out, enjoy their local, and connect with neighbours.

How to Claim Your Free Pint

Grabbing a free pint is easy. All customers need to do is head to one of the participating venues on April 23 and ask at the bar. The offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis – once the pub’s allocation of free pints is gone, it’s gone.

Only one free pint per customer will be handed out, and guests must be aged 18 or over. Drinks will include selected beers, subject to availability at each venue.

The giveaway is supported by a number of major brewers and forms part of Proper Pubs’ mission to inject life into local pubs and give back to the communities they serve.
