Supporters get first look at new designs ahead of official launch
Images of what appear to be Newcastle United’s 2025-26 away and third kits have surfaced on social media, giving fans an early glimpse before their official unveiling.
The Tyneside club unveiled their Adidas home strip last month, debuting it during the final Premier League match of the season — a 1-0 defeat to Everton. Despite the result, the match sealed a Champions League return for Eddie Howe’s side.
According to the club, the home shirt “blends historic vertical stripes with a classic northern motif — the shepherd’s check — offering a fresh but unmistakably Newcastle look.” The kit is completed with black shorts and socks featuring Adidas’ signature three stripes, while the club crest is rendered in full colour and “Howay the Lads” is printed on the back of the collar.
Sales of the home kit have been strong, and club officials are hoping for a similarly positive reaction to the away and third kits.
2025-26 Away Kit: A Return to Green
The away strip once again embraces green — a colour that has become familiar to Newcastle fans in recent years. Following a white away kit last season, this year’s edition reverts to “Saudi green,” reflecting the influence of the club’s ownership.
The kit features white club and sponsor logos, with dark green horizontal stripes running across the shirt. The design is rounded off with white detailing on the collar and sides, creating a sleek, minimalist look.
2025-26 Third Kit: Bold in Orange and Blue
The third kit makes a striking statement with its orange and blue colourway. It includes an orange Adidas trefoil logo, matching sponsor text, and a v-neck design. The Newcastle badge is set inside a shield on this version, which is also expected to have a long-sleeved option available.
Expected Launch Timeline for Away and Third Kits
According to minutes from the May 21 Fan Advisory Board meeting, the away kit is scheduled to launch during Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia in July or August. The third kit is expected to be released earlier, with a launch date set for early July.
