Norwich City: Gabriel Sara’s delight at Gala title success.

Gabriel Sara described his year at Galatasaray as his ‘happiest’ in professional football after winning the Turkish championship.
Gala secured the Super Lig title with a 3-0 victory over Kayserispor, putting them on 89 points after 34 games and surpassing Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
Sara started the title-winning game, setting up striker Victor Osimhen for the game’s first goal. Baris Alphar Yilmaz doubled their lead three minutes later, and custodian Fernando Muslera sealed the victory with a penalty kick late on, allowing for full celebrations at RAMS Park.
Galatasaray’s 25th title comes just days after their Turkish Cup victory over Trabzonspor.
Sara, speaking after their title win, described his year in Turkey as his happiest: “I am so happy. It’s amazing, to be honest. This season was incredible; I believe it was the best of my life thus far. I am happy, and I need to enjoy the moment.
“There’s an incredible atmosphere here. It was an extremely long season. This is the happiest season of my career. We’re trying to enjoy and celebrate it cheerfully.”
Sara’s success validates his departure from Carrow Road last summer, when he moved to Turkey for a guaranteed fee of £20 million plus bonuses and add-ons.
His transfer to Turkey came despite interest from the Serie A, Premier League, and Bundesliga.
After a slow start in Istanbul, the Brazilian has scored two goals and provided ten assists in 45 matches across all competitions.
