Norwich City is considering a move for the coveted Blackburn Rovers forward.

According to an EFL Analysis report, Norwich City is interested in Blackburn Rovers attacker Tyrhys Dolan.

Blackburn Rovers has a busy summer transfer window ahead of them, and the Lancashire team has made quick progress.

Last week, Dion De Neve became the first summer addition, but Valerien Ismael’s team won’t stop there. Although it will take time to determine exactly who enters the game, connections with new players have been nearly constant.

However, forward Tyrhys Dolan’s future is still up in the air, as his contract is set to expire in a few days.

However, according to Graeme Bailey’s report for EFL Analysis, the out-of-contract Blackburn Rovers striker is admired by Championship rivals Norwich City.

Since Liam Manning took over as manager, the Canaries reportedly have discussed a possible transfer for Dolan, and the new manager is eager to bring the adaptable 23-year-old to Ewood Park.

However, the Manchester-born star has plenty of fans, as has been widely reported. Other Championship teams and teams abroad are showing interest, but it doesn’t seem that Dolan is any closer to deciding where he will play next season.

Dolan’s decision time

Without a doubt, it seems like Dolan and his aides are experimenting to determine what will work best for him in the future.

Although Blackburn Rovers have made an attempt to retain him, the 23-year-old has left his options open. However, it is hoped that he hasn’t burned any bridges or closed any doors in the process.

But Dolan will have to make a decision soon as his contract expires. If he wants to leave Ewood Park, he will have a lot of possibilities, and after careful consideration, he must be sure that this is the best course of action.

A strategy at Blackburn Rovers

Even though Blackburn Rovers may still hope to retain Dolan, the club’s management will have backup preparations in case he decides to leave.

There will probably be interest in a forward who is similar and capable of covering in a variety of offensive roles. It should ideally be someone with potential for growth and a high resale value.

If Dolan had stayed under contract, he probably would have earned a respectable sum, but Norwich City or any other interested party can sign him for nothing in exchange for a settlement.
