Nottingham Forest impressed many with their Premier League campaign in 2024/25, missing out on Champions League football on the season’s final day.

Forest have yet to announce any new signings, with Anthony Elanga linked with a move to Newcastle. According to Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth, the Tricky Trees are in positive talks with Callum Hudson-Odoi’s representatives over a new deal.

Hudson-Odoi’s career at Chelsea looked bleak before he joined Nottingham Forest. Since his arrival at the City Ground, Odoi has established himself as an important member of Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.

Dharmesh Sheth discloses that numerous Premier League and Serie A clubs have requested to be kept updated on any developments if Hudson-Odoi becomes available. Forest will be anxious to keep both Elanga and Odoi, or at least one of them.

The discussions have been viewed as positive, which will please Forest fans as Odoi enters the final year of his contract. Odoi had previously been regarded as a “complete player” who earns an estimated £82,000 each week. Odoi’s quickness and directness have earned him much accolades.
