Officially:Plymouth secure the signing of Hertha Berlin midfielder Ibrahim

Plymouth Argyle has completed their fourth summer signing by acquiring midfielder Bradley Ibrahim from Hertha Berlin.

The 20-year-old has signed a four-year contract, with the transfer fee not disclosed.

After progressing through the youth system at QPR and subsequently joining Arsenal’s academy, the Londoner spent last season on loan at Crawley in League One, where he made 37 appearances across all competitions.

Ibrahim led the Gunners under-18s to the FA Youth Cup final in 2023 as their captain, where they were defeated by West Ham. He then joined Hertha Berlin’s development team in February 2024.

David Fox, Argyle head of football operations, told the club website, “We identified Bradley during last season as someone who is strong and powerful, a good tackler, and at an age where he is rapidly improving.” , extrinsic

My own experience has shown me that playing abroad and experiencing life in another culture benefits both your development as a player and your growth as an individual. As a young man of maturity, Bradley will fit in with us perfectly.

Ibrahim joins the League One Pilgrims after Jack MacKenzie, Jamie Paterson, and Caleb Watts have made similar moves.
