Primary school pupils across Oldham have been re-living Oldham Athletic’s Wembley victory by getting their hands on the National League play-off final trophy.

Oldham Athletic Community Trust have teamed up with their partner schools to take the silverware on a tour of the borough.
The first stop was at Royton Hall Primary Schools, where pupils in all year groups had their photograph taken with the trophy, before it moved on to St Paul’s Royton and Royton Hall Primary School, Oasis Academy Limeside, St Edward’s RC Primary School in Lees.
On Tuesday the trophy visited four schools in one day, with pupils at Delph Primary, Greenfield St Mary’s CE, Friezland Primary School and Hey with Zion all getting a glimpse.
Danny Heath, OACT’s primary school engagement manager, said: “We are taking our trophy on a Trophy Roadshow around all of our partner schools.
“This is an exclusive opportunity to share in the success of the football club.”
