The striker is the most recent Argentinean to join LE2, trying to follow in the footsteps of fellow countrymen Esteban Cambiasso and Leonardo Ulloa. The Championship experience in Cifuentes’ midfield is provided by Jordan James’ transfer from French team Rennes, another loan with a buyout option, while Jacob Ramsey’s loan switch from Burnley means there is a way to stop Bilal El Khannouss from leaving for Stuttgart. Despite their tardiness, City completed the necessary transactions.
