Oxfordshire traffic: Shocking photos show tree down on A40
Shocking images show a tree down on a major Oxfordshire road.
Traffic came to a halt during rush hour when a tree fell on the A40 between Sandhills and Wheatley.
Photos from the scene show drivers and emergency personnel on the scene as the tree blocked one side of the road and partially the other.
(Image: Contributed.) Before 6pm, traffic delays were around 25 minutes, with average speeds of only 5mph.
OxonTravel, the traffic account run by Oxfordshire County Council, reported a tree down on the A40 between Sandhills and Wheatley, causing delays.
