Pedestrians seriously injured by car in Luton following suspected nightclub row.
Two guys were critically hurt after a car hit numerous pedestrians in the early hours.
Bedfordshire Police are looking for witnesses to the incident, which occurred in Luton. They said emergency services were dispatched to Chapel Street at 3.28 a.m. on Saturday, following reports of a white Fiat 500 colliding with many pedestrians. Two guys in their 30s were rushed to the hospital and remain there with serious non-life-threatening injuries. A 23-year-old male was arrested at the site on accusations of attempted murder and drunken driving. He remains in police detention. Police have cordoned off the area at the Flowers Way junction. They claimed that the incident was not related to terrorism.
Det Sgt Emma Janes, who is investigating, said: “We are trying to figure out what happened before the collision, and we suspect it was caused by an earlier argument in Kumba Lounge.

“We know the area was highly busy at the time of the occurrence, and we believe there may have been others struck by the vehicle. “It’s especially crucial that we interview with anyone who was directly involved in the crash, even if they were not hurt. Any witnesses from within the pub are also encouraged to come forward.
