
Police cordons in place after man stabbed in Kingsbury.
A man in his twenties has been taken to the hospital after being stabbed several times in Colindale this afternoon.
Police were called at 13:49hrs on Thursday, April 17th, after reports of a stabbing in the area. Officers responded alongside the London Ambulance Service and found the victim on Kingsbury Road, NW9.
The man’s injuries have been classified as non-life-threatening, but they could be life-changing. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. At this point, no arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
The incident caused Kingsbury Road to be blocked in both directions at the Valley Drive intersection. The closure disrupted multiple bus routes, including the 183, 204, 324, and SL10.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson stated, “We were called at 1.48pm today (17 April) to reports of a stabbing at the intersection of Kingsbury Road and Old Kenton Lane in NW9.
“We deployed resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic, and a clinical team manager.
“Our first paramedic arrived at the scene in less than three minutes.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
