Police investigating Luton shooting want to speak to these men

Police have shared two photos as they appeal for witnesses to a shooting in Luton this week.

A man was shot in Needham Road shortly before 1.45pm on Wednesday (April 2).

The victim, who is in his twenties, is still hospitalised, but police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police have now shared images of two people on the back of a bike, believing the pair may have information that can aid their investigation.

Detective Inspector Kim Caddy stated, “This was a violent incident that occurred in the middle of the day, so we are conducting all lines of investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding it.

“We have released images of two people on bikes who we would like to speak with about the incident because we believe they may have important information. We understand that the images of the individuals are unclear, but we hope that the bike they are riding will help jog people’s memories.

“We understand this is concerning for members of the public, and officers are increasing their patrols in the area.”
