Police swarm residential street after two men stabbed

A man in his forties has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A substantial police presence has been established in Blackburn following the stabbing of two males. Lancashire Police officers responded to reports of a stabbing on Swift Close in the town yesterday afternoon (April 26). At around 5.37 p.m., armed and unarmed officers arrived to find a man in his 30s with stab wounds.

Another man in his forties also sustained minor injuries. A 42-year-old man from Blackburn was detained on suspicion of attempted murder.

Both victims were rushed to the hospital, and their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time.

Trump attends his funeral after ‘getting the Catholic vote’. Police are now investigating the incident and have set up a scene on Swift Close. There will be a substantial police presence in the area while investigations continue.

A representative for Lancashire Police stated: “At 5:37pm on Saturday, April 26th, we were called to reports of a stabbing on Swift Close in Blackburn.” Both armed and unarmed officers arrived to discover a man in his 30s with stab wounds. A second injured male in his forties also had minor injuries.
