QPR have disclosed their retained list for the 2024/25 season, and the data revealed by the club indicate a potential transfer blow for Championship rivals Sheffield United. Only one player has confirmed that he will leave Loftus Road as a free agent when his contract expires this summer. Kenneth Paal, the full-back, will leave west London after three years at Loftus Road to pursue new opportunities.
Conor Clark, Samuel Manufor, Harry Murphy, and Casey Shann will leave QPR’s Development Squad, and the club is still in talks with eight first-team players. One of them is Jimmy Dunne, the Player of the Year.

If they had attained top flight status, relations with Dunne could have faded, but they have returned strong.
Dunne was anticipated to avoid signing a new QPR contract in order to pursue that move, but the club has announced that they are in talks with the player about extending his stay. It isn’t because of that; it’s just because there is so much competition.

Meanwhile, Charlton Athletic is reportedly considering player transfers to assist prepare the team for a return to the Championship. Nathan Jones was keen to get his firm in the window early last year, and he may take a similar approach to success this year. According to Ibrox News, the Addicks are a’major option’ for Dundee FC player Josh Mulligan. The 22-year-old has impressed in the Scottish Premiership and has been linked with a move to Glasgow as Rangers assess his availability. The midfielder’s contract expires this summer, and he might join a new team as a free agent. The outlet also claims that Salford City could be an option for the player, who has spent his whole career thus far with Dundee.
When asked about the player’s future in April, former Dundee manager Tony Docherty said: “Josh is another of our academy graduates who has done exceptionally well. If these boys continue to achieve at this level, they will undoubtedly attract suitors. “This season, I gave him the No. 8 jersey and challenged him. His performance has consistently improved, and he has established himself as a key member of the squad. Last year, he may not have played as many games as he would have liked.
