Putman, 18, has risen through the Championship team’s academy ranks. He has been a regular at several youth levels.

After signing new terms, he stated on the club’s website, “This is a very happy moment for me and my family, especially because my family has been there since the beginning.” I’ve been with this club since Under-9s, so seeing where I’ve come from to where I am now is a huge accomplishment for me, and it’s only the beginning.”

He stated, “I’ve written down my goals, one of which is to get a professional contract.” Yesterday, I reflected on the sacrifices I’ve made, such as missing out on parties and leaving friends to attend football games.

“I’m confident I’m meeting my goals for the season.” When the new season begins, I’ll set new personal goals for myself, and we’ll take it from there.”

Putman has yet to make his first-team debut for QPR. However, he hopes to do so in the future.

The Hoops must decide what to do with him before the start of the next season. They could keep him on their development squad or loan him out again to gain more experience.

Putman, who is from Feltham, is a right-back by trade who enjoys moving up and down the flank. He has previously been loaned out to Barking to help his development.
