The wide player played most of the previous season on loan at Anderlecht, where he finished fourth in the Belgian top flight with three league goals and two assists. Rangers are now showing interest in the Southampton player, but other teams are anticipated to enter the race to recruit him.
Despite Sheffield Wednesday’s continued financial struggles, Rangers have agreed to sign Djeidi Gassama from the Championship team. The 21-year-old winger is expected to sign a four-year contract at Ibrox after reaching a personal agreement prior to a possible transfer.
