Reading murder investigation: Updates as tributes left for man found dead

Three guys have been apprehended by Thames Valley Police and are being detained.

A guy died in Tilehurst, and police are still looking into the incident.

Following the Sunday, October 31 incident on Romany Lane, officers are still on the scene.

Following reports of a stabbing, police were called to the scene at approximately 10.40 p.m.

Three guys, one 18-year-old and two 19-year-olds, have been arrested in connection with the event and are being

held in police custody.

Although the victim’s identity is still unknown, professionally trained officials have notified and are supporting his

next of kin.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Howard, the Major Crime Unit’s Senior Investigating Officer, stated: “After a man

died last night, we have opened a murder inquiry.

“During this trying time, our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Although the victim’s identity is still unknown, professionally trained officials have informed and are supporting his
