Reading owners in town for meet and greet and firework display against Huddersfield

Reading owners are in town for a firework show against Huddersfield and a meet and greet.

In order to meet and greet with new owners Rob Couhig and Todd Trosclair, Reading supporters are being urged to attend early for the game on Saturday.

When Huddersfield Town visits this Saturday, Select Car Leasing Stadium will open for business for the first time in 2025–2026. The Royals lost 2-0 at Lincoln City on the first day of the League One season. A firework and pyrotechnics show will begin the Couhig period in Berkshire at 12.20 p.m., live on Sky Sports Football, and the start time has been moved to 12.30 p.m. Couhig and business partner Trosclair will be on the Purple Turtle Stage to greet fans before to the game starting at 11 a.m. outside the Sir John Madejski Stand.

Less than 48 hours have passed since he appeared in a Q&A session hosted by the Former Players Association, which will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Hilton Hotel on Kennet Island. A meet and greet with Reading FC Women officials, music by DJ Harry, and collectible Royals cups for soft and alcoholic beverages are among the day’s exciting extras. In order to create a striking visual image, supporters are being requested to wear blue and white clothing and bring blue and white balloons.

“It’s a new era at the club-we all know that,” manager Noel Hunt stated prior to the Terriers’ arrival after the team defeated Leyton Orient 3-0 in their opening game on Saturday. We’ve made it through some difficult times together, you guys. We couldn’t have continued without you, and maybe you did the same for us. We are rebuilding the team and the club, and we would appreciate your support. Seeing everyone on Saturday to support the lads will be fantastic. We can do amazing things if we work together.
