On May 3, current owner Dai Yongge and Redwood Holdings, led by Rob Couhig, announced an agreement in principle.
The EFL deadline for the transfer expired on Monday at 17:00 BST, and the statement added that they had “received additional documentation in recent days.”
“A further update will be shared in due course,” the brief EFL statement concluded.
