Police have closed a major road in Blackburn after a van crashed into a house, leaving a large gaping hole in the wall.
Emergency personnel, including firefighters and gas engineers, are on the scene on Audley Road. The incident occurred late this morning (April 24) at the junction with North Road, injuring two people, one of whom is in hospital.
The road is closed in both directions, and traffic is being diverted. A police cordon is in place.
Pictures and videos posted on social media from the scene show significant damage to the front of the terraced home.
