Rory MacLeod to Dunfermline Athletic latest as Dundee United demands prove key.

MacLeod is believed to be eager to play first-team football.
Dunfermline Athletic hope to recruit Dundee United teenager Rory MacLeod permanently. MacLeod, 19, has been given a new contract by the Tangerines but is thought to want to play first-team football after falling behind Jort van der Sande, Zac Sapsford, and Owen Stirton in the pecking order.
His possibilities will be further reduced when United’s summer recruitment campaign concludes, with at least one new forward – maybe two – expected to join at Tannadice.
Several clubs are believed to have showed interest in MacLeod, who spent last season on loan with Southampton’s U/21 team.
However, United is entitled to compensation and is attempting to recuperate an amount that reflects his decade of development at the club.
Dunfermline sources have told Courier Sport that conversations between the sides have been underway since last month, with the goal of meeting in the middle.
If the Scotland U/19 cap lives up to his potential, United’s management will certainly demand a high sell-on percentage. MacLeod is not attending United’s training camp in the Netherlands.
