Southampton may plan to change their record signings list following Kamaldeen Sulemana’s departure, and Jack Rudoni might be an ideal value-for-money candidate.
For the past three years, every Southampton supporter has referred to Kamaldeen Sulemana as the club’s record transfer, despite the fact that he was not a particularly wise signing. With Sulemana expected to leave St. Mary’s, such beliefs may alter, and ideally the Saints can have the best of both worlds.
If you’re expecting another big goalscorer agreement, prepare for a midfield surprise.

Furthermore, he is not a replacement for Lesley Ugochukwu, but he does have the approval of a Chelsea fan favorite. As reported by the Daily Echo, it is Frank Lampard’s trusty playmaker Jack Rudoni.
Rudoni’s quick rise draws parallels to Mason Mount.
Southampton were believed to be keeping an eye on him a few weeks ago, but Rudoni is yet to become the topic of the transfer market this month. This might be a huge blow to Coventry’s sale hopes if they go down that route, but the Saints won’t mind facing a quiet fight for one of the almost playoff-finalists.
Furthermore, many who have watched him would agree that Rudoni has the potential to play in the Premier League. But if you haven’t, there’s nothing wrong with remembering Lampard’s Derby County days.
There, too, he came close to promotion and had Mason Mount, a flair number ten, in his ranks. The duo later thrived for the Blues, with Mount becoming a Three Lions mainstay for a few years.
Although Mount’s form has deteriorated in recent seasons, his brief stint at Chelsea should be enough to persuade Southampton to sign Rudoni.
