Aaron Ramsdale appears to accept that Chelsea isn’t interested in signing him and has begun talks with fellow London club West Ham.

Chelsea has a reputation for being a big spender in the Premier League, but they also invest in top talent from around the world. Typically, this involves top European clubs, but this time, Southampton’s transfer plans are also influenced by the Blues’ ambitions.

The Saints’ attempt to sell Tyler Dibling has been halted due to the transfer of Liam Delap. Now, the club’s number one Aaron Ramsdale is feeling the same way after learning of Chelsea’s custodian recruitment.

On paper, nothing concrete has been done, but the Conference League winners appear to be set to sign Milan’s Mike Maignan. According to Fabrizio Romano, Enzo Maresca sees the French custodian as an ideal fit for his tactical approach, which aligns with Chelsea’s position.

Ramsdale must quickly secure his Hammers move.

Chelsea’s shot-stopper needs have now been met for at least a few seasons, assuming no last-minute deal-breakers. However, not everyone emerges as a winner from a large transfer, and in that case, Aaron Ramsdal

After delivering one of the most underrated save-making campaigns in English top flight history, the 26-year-old felt rewarded to join a competitive Premier League outfit.

In reality, nothing like this appears to be in the works, and Ramsdale appears to have moved on as well. According to TalkSport, the latter is interested in shaking hands with West Ham, who are also looking to make up for lost top-table ground in the coming season.

To be honest, Ramsdale is eager, but he understands that delaying any longer will only lead to a Championship spell. There is still time to secure a decent Premier League escape route, making this a reasonable option.

Will Ramsdale be a Hammer next season? Let’s wait and see.
