Saoirse Noonan: We need to learn and stick with it going into Hibs game

Despite just being in her first season with the Hoops, Saoirse Noonan is already used to life as a Celtic player, having made 41 appearances in green and white.

She has scored 29 goals in her first season, which has been a successful one from a personal perspective, but it has been a dismal conclusion to yet another historic season.

The penultimate game of the campaign will take place on Wednesday night when the Ghirls travel to Edinburgh, with only two games left.

In an interview with the media prior to that trip to Meadowbank, Noonan discussed the challenging second half of the season.

“Obviously, my first season being at the club, I’ve loved having so many games.

I suppose in the past I haven’t had as many games.” “Being involved has been brilliant, but I think this last half of the season has been extremely difficult.”

“There have been days where we have to come in and try to pick ourselves up off the floor fairly quickly.” “We understand the frustration because we are too.

” The forward emphasized the importance of learning and persevering while they aim to make a strong finish to the season in their final two games.”The games have been thrown at us with gusto. It has been difficult.

“It’s just unfortunate that we haven’t always gotten the best out of everyone, but we have a good dressing room and a lot of different characters,” Noonan added.

However, we do need to learn, and I believe it is a growing period. We play for a major club, so we can make all the excuses we want.

“We want to end the season on a high note and prepare for the next one.”
