Shea Charles could complete another historic transfer move involving Southampton

Southampton could make a move for Shea Charles’ brother and Sheffield Wednesday keeper Pierce Charles, who has started winning Rohl’s trust as their starting shot-stopper.

It’s been a few days since Fabrizio Romano confirmed Virgil van Dijk’s Liverpool contract renewal, but the Saints fans’ misery has not subsided. So why not? Given that Southampton’s greatest move in history could have made a memorable homecoming to St. Mary’s.
But, honestly, missing out on this historic transfer shouldn’t concern Southampton. The Saints have one of the best talent sets and can easily achieve record transfers.

Now, I know you’re expecting this to be about the Saints’ adolescent wonderkid Dibling, but this time the story is about Shea Charles.

No fan will ever forget the midfielder’s one-of-a-kind, full-circle transfer in January. And now, he may be at the center of another historic Saints saga, one that runs in the family.

It is worth noting that St. Mary’s has never seen a brother tandem line up together for Southampton, but Shea Charles and his brother Pierce Charles have the potential to change that.

Southampton tipped to unite Shea Charles and Pierce Charles next season

This is because, while Shea is almost certain to be a key figure in Southampton’s Championship hopes for next season, he may shortly be joined by his brother Pierce.

This is impressive given the Saints’ interest in signing prodigy goalkeeper Pierce Charles. To note, despite a difficult stint on the bench earlier this season, Pierce is steadily establishing himself in Danny Rohl’s Sheffield Wednesday squad.

That’s why, according to Football League World, Southampton can trust Pierce Charles as a backup to Gavin Bazunu if Aaron Ramsdale leaves this summer.

And to bring it all together are Southampton’s tangible Danny Rohl links. If the German manager lands on the Southern Coast, he will undoubtedly facilitate the reunion of the brother duo, who have been sharing the dressing room for quite some time.
