Vinícius Souza of Sheffield United will join VfL Wolfsburg this summer.
At the weekend, we reported on allegations from Brazil that he will begin medical testing with the German club this week. That has not happened thus far.
According to AZ/WAZ, Wolfsburg hopes to achieve an agreement with Sheffield United for the midfielder’s transfer as soon as possible.
They also indicated that he is set to be their next signing, but it was unclear when the 26-year-old would face medical exams.
Venê Casagrande, a Brazilian journalist, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide the most recent updates on the Sheffield United star. He reports the Brazilian ‘will report to Wolfsburg on Thursday’.
This means Vini Souza will need to go through medical testing and sign a contract with his new team within the following 72 hours. The South American will sign a five-year deal with Wolfsburg.

According to Casagrande, the Bundesliga club will pay the Blades €15 million, without indicating whether this includes or excludes bonuses.
He goes on to say that the Championship club will be entitled to 15% of the profits from any future sales.
It should be emphasized that Casagrande’s claim has yet to be supported by evidence from Brazil or Germany.
Vini Souza made 38 appearances for Sheffield United last season.
