The latest exits at Sheffield Wednesday have seen the club come in for heavy criticism.
Some player wages do look to have been paid this week, but it remains to be seen how many more stars could depart this summer.
Dejphon Chansiri has £4m worth of footballing debts and has been moving on some big names in order to help reduce the club’s financial woes.
Djeidi Gassama’s transfer to Rangers was officially confirmed on Tuesday.
Said deals have not gone down too well with one journalist, who has made his feelings very clear.

Sheffied wednesday sales slammed by journalist
Gassama sent a message after leaving Sheffield Wednesday to link up with the Scottish giants.
Fans are not happy about the transfer, with one branding it ‘an absolute disgrace’.
Now, journalist Dom Howson has been reacting to the fees the Owls are earning for Gassama and Musaba.
Rangers are paying £2.2m for Gassama, while Musaba has netted Wednesday around £800,000 – sums that Howson isn’t pleased with.
He wrote: “Djedi Gassama and Anthony Musaba have been sold by #SWFC for around £3m (Gassama £2.2m and Musaba £800k) to ease their financial troubles.
“Fees well below market value for two of their better attacking players. It’s gross mismanagement and underlines the mess they’re in.”
EFL could work with Sheffield Wednesday to ease woes
Talk of a potential takeover has ramped up over the last week or so.
Tilman Fertitta is linked to buy Sheffield Wednesday, though when and if that will actually happen isn’t clear at this stage.
He told EFL Analysis: “The EFL don’t want to be awkward for the sake of being awkward. They don’t want to be awkward if it reduces the opportunity to sell Sheffield Wednesday.”
