Southampton outcast has €10m price tag – Club ready to ‘throw themselves’ at player – Sport Witness
Armel Bella-Kotchap played only four Premier League games for Southampton last season.

On multiple occasions, he wasn’t even on the bench for the club. This came right after the defender failed to get enough game time during a loan stint at PSV Eindhoven.
Hamburger Abendblatt have covered interest from Hamburg over the past few days, with their report confident that the defender will leave Southampton this summer.
The newspaper also explained the Germany international is yet to make a final decision, with Hamburg set to maintain contact for his signature. More has now emerged from Italy about the player’s situation.
Messaggero Veneto report Udinese are ready to ‘throw themselves’ at the 23-year-old, who is seen as a potential replacement for the departed Jaka Bijol, who moved to Leeds United last month.
The Italian newspaper claims Southampton value the defender at €10m, which feels an optimistic slant for the Serie A side.
As well as Udinese and Hamburg, there is also interest from Borussia Monchengladbach and Anderlecht.
The German defender has previously shown his qualities in the Premier League, playing 24 times during the 2022/23 season and it’s no surprise that clubs still see him as good option with room to improve.
