Paul Onuachu, a Southampton attacker, will go to Turkey today ahead of his transfer to Trabzonspor.
The 31-year-old has been linked with a return to his previous club for the majority of the past year, and it was confirmed last week that he would finally be signing with them.
According to Sabah, the Nigeria international would travel in Trabzon via private aircraft around 9.30 p.m. local time before being officially unveiled as a Super Lig club player.

According to reports, discussions with Southampton have been completed, but the player’s arrival in Turkey has been delayed owing to visa formalities. The attacker will be joined by his family aboard the private flight.
Southampton and Trabzonspor have been in transfer talks for several weeks, but have been unable to agree on a transfer fee. Last week, there was a breakthrough in negotiations, and the Saints accepted Trabzonspor’s latest offer. Onuachu will allegedly sign a three-year deal.
Onuachu played the 2023/24 season on loan with Trabzonspor before returning to St Mary’s last summer. During his time in Turkey, he scored an astounding 17 goals in 25 games and is eager to return to the Super Liga.
Arrival times are essential in Turkish football because they promote the practice of fans greeting new signings at the airport.
