Spurs star James Maddison takes aim at Ipswich Town fan after Norwich City dig

Following a Norwich City dig, Spurs player James Maddison targets an Ipswich Town supporter.

Last time out, the two teams faced off in the East Anglian derby at Portman Road, and the Tractor Boys won 3-1. Kieran McKenna’s team controlled the ball and gradually undermined Norwich’s defence, giving them a better chance to win right away. Cedric Kipre scored an opening goal from a corner as a result of this pressure.

Oscar Schwartau’s effort from beyond the area bounced past Alex Palmer to tie the score, and the Canaries answered nearly immediately. Some with ties to the Canaries, such as former player James Maddison, have taken notice of such displays of joy. After moving from his boyhood team, Coventry City, Maddison made over 50 appearances for Norwich City throughout the early stages of his career. The England international really developed as a player at Carrow Road, and as a result, he still has a lot of positive feelings for the Norfolk team. In April 2024, Norwich defeated Ipswich 1-0, with Marcelino Nunez, unfortunately, scoring the game-winning goal. Maddison celebrated the triumph on social media, writing: “In case anyone needed reminding… East Anglia has always been green and golden. 15 years now?
