Stefan Borson: This is how much Bournemouth could accept for Antoine Semenyo after Liverpool swoop

Stefan Borson: Following Liverpool’s swoop, this is the amount Bournemouth may take for Antoine Semenyo.

In an attempt to strengthen their left-hand side of the attack, Liverpool is in the lead to recruit Semenyo, according to a report published by Football Insider on Monday, October 13. Manchester United has had a long-standing interest in the Ghanaian international, and Arsenal is also in the running to sign Semenyo.

Semenyo, however, signed a new contract with Bournemouth in July, extending his stay at the Vitality Stadium until 2030. Due to Semenyo’s performance this season, Bournemouth may demand up to £75 million for him, according to an exclusive report by former Man City finance adviser Stefan Borson to Football Insider. In the first few weeks of the season, the 25-year-old has made eight appearances for Andoni Iraola’s team, tallying six goals and three assists.

They were among the top sellers, and I believe they sold four players for more than €50 million (£43.4 million), so they’re establishing a very strong trading business. “I believe it’s obvious that Semenyo will be a target that everyone will be interested in this summer. “For a player who has the demand that he has and the quality that he seems to be displaying week in and week out, £75 million seems like the absolutely achievable level.”
