Stendel outlines desire for the Hearts return after ‘dream’ first spell.

Former Heart of Midlothian manager Daniel Stendel has stated that he would love to return to Tynecastle as manager. The German coach spent only a short time in Edinburgh before being named manager in December 2019. However, his time was cut short by the Covid epidemic, which ended the season prematurely, resulting in Hearts’ dubious relegation. The former Barnsley manager even forfeited his salary after the club asked players and staff to endure pay cuts. His contract expired after Hearts were relegated.
Stendel presently manages Hannover’s reserves in Germany’s third tier, but he has expressed a desire to return. He stated, “If there was another chance to manage Hearts, I would take it quickly. “That period at Hearts was a total fantasy. The club, the city, the people – everything was great. I have only positive recollections. “Scotland is always mocked in German football circles. It’s a little but wonderfully beautiful country, with a lot of football fans and really kind people.
