Sunderland AFC and owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus have once again demonstrated their dedication to community and compassion with an unprecedented gesture:

the Bradley Lowery Foundation will receive an executive box at the Stadium of Light for the full 2025-26 Premier League season.

The foundation shared the news on social media after what it described as a “very positive meeting,” explaining that the club’s generosity will allow them to continue inviting many families at each home game. The box offers a secure, pleasant, and memorable matchday experience to children with illnesses or impairments, as well as their families. “We are absolutely over the moon to announce that Sunderland AFC are kindly donating our executive box for yet another season,” the charity stated in a letter.

“Our executive box allows us to accommodate numerous families per match, allowing them to create great experiences together as a family. We cannot thank Sunderland enough for their tremendous support.”

The box will continue to be offered to children with illnesses and impairments, but this year the organisation is also extending the opportunity to young people who have terminal cancer. This is not the first time Sunderland and Louis-Dreyfus have supported the foundation, which was established in memory of Bradley Lowery, a loyal Sunderland supporter who grabbed the hearts of the football world during his courageous struggle with neuroblastoma.

Bradley’s tale and close relationship with former Black Cats striker Jermain Defoe made an indelible mark on Wearside and beyond. On social media, Black Cats fans expressed gratitude for the club’s continuous support for the foundation.
