Teen murder arrest after man, 57, dies at house.

Police have arrested a teenager on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Brighton.

Officers responded to reports of a man attacking multiple people inside a house on Hartfield Avenue shortly before 07:30 BST on Tuesday.

According to Sussex Police, a 57-year-old man died at the scene from “significant injuries”.

A woman and a boy were also discovered at the house with serious injuries and transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed to the BBC that the injured child was a boy and that no firearms were used.

They also stated that the teenager and the deceased knew each other.

A 19-year-old man from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of murder and is still in custody.

According to the force, emergency services will be present in greater numbers in the area while the incident is being investigated.
