A 16-year-old boy has been detained on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death. Hertfordshire Police were alerted to complaints of a dispute between two men near Parkhouse Court, Hatfield, at about 13:10 GMT on Sunday. When authorities arrived, they discovered a male in his twenties with stab wounds, who died on the spot. The teenager was arrested in London at 04:00 GMT and is presently being treated in a hospital. A 35-year-old Hatfield woman is in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of helping a criminal.
A man in his 20s died near Parkhouse Court from several stab wounds.
Ch Insp Pete Frost of Hertfordshire Police stated, “I hope the news of these two arrests will provide some reassurance to the local community following Sunday’s incident.” “We have stepped up patrols in and around Hatfield town centre, and if you have any concerns then please do speak to our officers who are there to help.”
