
Police have released a photo taken from CCTV following a robbery at a shop in Banbury on Friday morning.
The robbery occurred at the Quick Stop on Warwick Road at 7.30 a.m. on May 2.
The culprit, a male, entered the store and threatened the employees. It is thought he was carrying a knife.
The perpetrator then stole a large quantity of tobacco and cigarettes before fleeing the establishment for Foundry Street and the Southam Road Cemetery.
The Quick Stop employees were not hurt in the robbery.
Detective Constable Sophie Smith, the investigating officer, stated: “We are releasing CCTV footage of a man who we believe has vital information about the robbery.
“If anyone knows who this individual is or has footage from Warwick Road, Foundry Street, or surrounding Southam Road Cemetery, please contact the police.
