The Notts County star would be a “great signing” for Plymouth Argyle, according to Tom Cleverley.

Tom Cleverley, a former Watford manager, has been named the next manager of Plymouth Argyle

After placing 14th in the Championship the previous season, Cleverley was fired by Watford; nonetheless, he is expected to make a quick return to management with the Pilgrims.

Naturally, relegation causes a lot of departures from the team, and Plymouth is no exception. Cleverley has to be ready to bring in some new players because the fates of Mustafa Bundu and Ryan Hardie are still uncertain.

Luke Hodge, a Plymouth Argyle supporter and commentator for Football League World, has named one player the Pilgrims should target this summer.

Tom Cleverley was appointed, and Plymouth Argyle received the ideal transfer.

Luke said, “We have to start attempting to sign one or two strikers.

” The likelihood that Mustafa Bundu will leave the team after his contract expires is high.

“Ryan Hardie is now with us, but there are serious whispers that he might be leaving the team in the summer.

“We’ve offered him a contract extension, but he hasn’t signed it yet. If he doesn’t want to extend, I’d think the club would want to get some cash in for Ryan.”

Alassana Jatta from Notts County is a name that has been mentioned, and I like the way he looks. He is 26 years old, Gambian, strong, and a goal scorer.

He would be a fantastic addition to Argyle, in my opinion. We lack strikers, as I mentioned. Jamie Paterson has joined our team. We have two young men, Freddie Issaka and Joe Hatch.

“But if we want to be a real contender for a promotion challenge next year, we really need to strengthen our front line.”

For Argyle, Alassana Jatta would be a great addition.

It would be difficult for Plymouth to find a better substitute than Jatta if they were to lose Bundu and Hardie.

Last season, he made 43 appearances for Notts County, scoring 22 goals and dishing out four assists.

Argyle’s chances of promotion would increase tenfold if they could sign the forward and provide him with a solid base to maintain his lucky form.

The Pilgrims would have to repel some of their League One rivals, though.

Bolton Wanderers are considering a move for the Notts County star, according to an exclusive report from Football League World, as they want to strengthen Steven Schumacher’s team this summer.

Argyle will be hoping that Bolton’s acquisition of Sam Dalby has dampened their ambitions to sign Jatta during the next transfer window.
