Aside from the millions generated by the top flight’s TV deal, Birmingham City is now a Premier League club in terms of revenue.

Chairman Tom Wagner, who has spent the previous two years persuading upscale commercial brands to support the Blues, has come to that conclusion.
Even though Blues played in League One the previous season, the club’s revenue doubled during Knighthead’s first season as manager, and a similarly significant gain is anticipated when the 2024–25 season accounts are released the following year.
The Blues are one of the largest money-making machines outside of the Premier League thanks to their return to the Championship and huge sponsorship partnerships with Delta Airlines, Undefeated, Coral, Heineken, and Nike.
Financially, Wagner thinks they would already be competitive in the Premier League. “We took that moment as an opportunity to create a winning culture and really re-set the club in so many different ways,” he told The Telegraph following the club’s relegation in 2024.
