Tyrhys Dolan drops big Blackburn Rovers future hint – It’s not looking good for Rovers

For the past two seasons, Dolan’s job at Ewood Park has been in a precarious position.

With free agency approaching this summer, we will learn more about his ambitions. There has been continuous conjecture regarding whether he sees his future with the Lancashire club.

The 23-year-old, who was a member of Manchester City’s academy before to his release, excelled in the previous season. Of all the players in the Blackburn squad, he contributed 13 goals directly in Championship games.

According to Graham Bailey, his impressive performances have now connected him to teams like Middlesbrough. However, there have reportedly been no formal discussions between the two sides, according to local reports.

According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Dolan is due to make a decision about his future after a trip, and although he is still on the board, Rovers are not his most likely destination for the upcoming season. Rangers and Celtic have also been mentioned.

Since then, Dolan has discussed his future plans with The Times, implying that he is keeping his options open in case a Premier League team approaches him.

“I am really appreciative of Blackburn,” he remarked. While I’ve been there, I’ve experienced both the best and the worst moments of my life.

“I really value the club. They assisted me a lot when Dolan’s buddy and former Man City player Jeremy [Wisten] passed away, and I made my professional debut for them.

“But it’s a short career, and I’ve always wanted to play at the top level, and at this point I’m a free agent with the belief in myself to perform anywhere.”

Any aspirational player in this nation’s second tier would naturally want to go up to the Premier League.

Although some big-name players, such as Adam Wharton, Dolan’s old teammate, have made the jump, free agents find it more difficult.

Callum O’Hare, another former top flight academy product, renegotiated his contract with Coventry City last summer in an attempt to join the Premier League. Despite reports that West Ham United was interested, he ultimately chose to join Sheffield United since the ideal opportunity never materialized.
