CHARLTON 1 BARNSLEY 1 U21 REPORT

Chris Lock’s team’s winning streak now stands at three after a youthful Addicks team and Barnsley U21s shared the spoils in a 1-1 match at The Valley on Tuesday afternoon. Reuben Reid scored for the Addicks that same evening when Nathan Jones’ team faced Cambridge United. The gifted young player was named to the first-team squad.

Within 16 minutes, Paris Lock threaded an inch-perfect pass in behind for Reid to run onto, giving us the lead. With a well-executed finish, the forward converted from close range without error. Chrysolite Ogbu gave the visitors an equaliser in the 74th minute, bringing the score to even in SE7.
