According to a story in The Star, Sheffield United forward Rhian Brewster is yet to sign a new contract with the club.

Sheffield United are set for a summer of upheaval following the controversial decision to cut ways with Chris Wilder. SUFC has already appointed Ruben Selles as his replacement, so no time has been spent.

The decision has surprised the Blades faithful, who had believed their iconic manager would be given another chance to gain promotion back to the Premier League after rebuilding the squad after relegation.

The spotlight will soon shift to players who may arrive at Bramall Lane, but forward Rhian Brewster’s future remains uncertain. The 25-year-old’s contract with Sheffield United expires in just 10 days, but despite confirmation that talks were ongoing, no contract has been signed.

According to the Star, Brewster has yet to sign the terms offered by SUFC. He is supposed to be content with the club and in the Steel City, but no breakthrough has occurred yet. Wilder was desperate to keep Brewster, but his departure has not influenced the offer of an extension at this time.
