Watford Junction disruption amid track safety inspection
The Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway trains into London Euston are also being impacted by the station-Millton Keynes Central problem, which was initially reported at 7.36am.
Travel on the London Overground shouldn’t be impacted.
“Trails must operate at a reduced speed on certain lines towards Watford Junction due to a safety inspection of the track between Milton Keynes Central and Watford Junction,” stated National Rail.
National Rail has reminded passengers that they may be entitled to compensation if they experience a delay this morning.
Four of the next six services, those scheduled to depart Watford Junction before 8am, have been confirmed to be delayed, though none have been cancelled as of yet.
“Trains running between these stations may be cancelled, revised, or delayed by up to 30 minutes.” “Disruption is expected until 10am.”
