Brighton Boss to Discuss Future of Loan Players Buonanotte and Enciso

Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler has confirmed that discussions will soon take place regarding the futures of Facundo Buonanotte and Julio Enciso, both currently out on loan.

Buonanotte, 20, has been with Leicester City, who were recently relegated. He had a promising start to the season under then-manager Steve Cooper, recording six goals and four assists, but his form dipped under current boss Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Enciso, 21, joined fellow relegated side Ipswich Town in January and made a good impression, scoring two goals and providing three assists. The two Brighton loanees will face off this Saturday when Ipswich visits Leicester at the King Power Stadium. However, what happens after that remains unclear.

Hürzeler explained that Brighton closely monitors their loan players:

“Any player under contract and out on loan is still considered a part of our squad. We track their development carefully and ensure they get proper attention, even while away.”

He also praised the work of Brighton’s loan managers:

We have two excellent loan managers who work closely with these players. It’s vital for their growth that they stay engaged with our system.”

When it comes to bringing them back:

“We’ll assess whether their playing style fits what we need next season. Some may join us for pre-season training, and we’ll make decisions based on how they fit into our plans.”
