West Brom snubbed by transfer target in favour of Europa League switch.
EFL Analysis reports that Dundee player Josh Mulligan has turned down West Brom.
West Brom are thought to have had negotiations with the Scottish Premiership star. WBA is preparing for another year in the Championship.

Mulligan, 22, has recently attracted attention north of the border in Dundee. He has spent his entire professional career at the Dens Park team.
In the most recent update on his status, EFL Analysis claims he has turned down a move to The Hawthorns. He is now set to join Europa League club Hibernian, despite having spoken with Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers. The Baggies have named Ryan Mason as their new head coach. According to BBC Sport, he stated, “You know when something feels right and there’s no doubt in my mind.”

I already feel like it’s a great fit.” He continued, “My playing career was cut short, which expedited my path to becoming a head coach. Josh Mulligan turned down West Brom. Mulligan might have been considered as a potential addition to West Brom’s squad. WBA has plenty of time to explore alternate solutions.
The former Scotland youth international is versatile, able to play in both defence and midfield if necessary. He rose through Dundee’s academy ranks and was a regular at several young levels.

Mulligan made his first-team debut in a 2019 league game against St Mirren. He was then leased out as a kid to Cove Rangers and Peterhead to get playing experience. The Dundee native has now established himself as an important member of the Dark Blues’ squad. He has made 124 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals.
What next for West Brom?
West Brom manager Mason will be eager to put his own stamp on his new squad. WBA awarded him a three-year contract.
He played for Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City before becoming a coach. His career was cut short due to a severe head injury.
Mulligan appears to be on his way to Hibernian, therefore the Baggies will need to find replacements.
Mason has already looked at the Looking to sign a centre-back. Nat Phillips has signed a permanent contract with Liverpool following a loan spell at Derby County last season.
