West Brom supporters respond with majority support behind owners’ ticketing decision
Support for the club’s decision to increase matchday ticket prices for the 2025–2026 season has been expressed by
Albion supporters.
Supporters buying individual match tickets at The Hawthorns for the forthcoming season have witnessed a slight
increase in most categories.
The price range for adult matchday tickets has increased from £30 to £32, depending on your seat.
Similar increases have also been seen in other categories, such as junior sections, tickets for those 65 and older, and
tickets for people with disabilities.
Sixty-five percent of the more than 650 respondents to an Express & Star Albion fan survey said “yes” when asked if
the hikes were fair and reasonable. The remaining voters made “no” choices.
Neil was among the fans who commented on the price increase, saying: “It’s still among the cheapest in the league.
The supporters want to see a winning team, and the club needs money! I have no idea what folks were anticipating.
WBARenno continued: “In all fairness the £35 are in areas where there isn’t many tickets available, it’s all season
ticket holders in the Upper East and West Stand – £32 compared to most other clubs is still alright.”
“I can’t go to every match, but if I go to one, after the ticket price, transport and food and drink, you’re looking at well
over £60 to enjoy one match,” Dylan, one of the supporters, said. This season, I’m not going.
This season, Steve Buck said, “I’ll give it a miss after that increase.”

£29 instead.
The cost of disabled tickets has also increased. Supporters will pay between £22 and £25 per game for the upcoming
season, compared to £20 for the previous one.
A slight change has been made to the junior age classification from the previous season, when all under-17s paid £5
per match.
The new rates include distinct under-17s, under-20s, and 20 to 25s, as well as under-14s, who need to be
accompanied by an adult. Any seat for under-14s costs £7. The price range for under-17s is £10 to £12. Prices for
those aged 20 to 25 range from £20 to £23, while under-20s will pay between £15 and £17.
